Saw this in the parking lot of a movie theater before my dad and I saw Civil War; a 1950s Mercedes Benz 300 in impeccable condition. It looked fantastic. Spotted it across the street. :).
Some Floridians have really nice cars, especially in this area. A lot of retirees live here, plus some celebrities. I mean, when I used to live and work here a few years ago, we had Cliff Williams, bassist of AC/DC, visit our Publix store.

Well, I was secretly hoping for a three on the tree setup until I saw that badge, :)

For a few years it was a thing over here. <- is a Packard badge, for one.

I had a chance to get a wagon but they are so expensive to restore. They are pretty cheap if they need some work.

An old college buddy of mine, Tom, has one of Cliff’s bass amps. Tom’s dad built Cliff’s house when he (Cliff) moved to Florida and they became friends. When Cliff found out that his new friend’s son played bass, he gave him one of his amps.

I think i knew the badges existed, I just never see them. When my friend was in Australia, he sent me the this picture, it’s got an automatic badge on the back.

That’s pretty epic. I was a bagger at the store, and when he came in, a bunch of the cashiers got super exited. It was hilarious.

What part of Florida are you in now?
Thats like the only good thing about my area. Median age is 68 so there are a lot of super bizarre barn finds and classics driving around.
There is some lady in her 70s driving a manual red Supra with only 40k miles. Bone stock.
An 87 year old has a crystal black CTS-V wagon.
So many beautiful K cars!

That is a *very* fancy car. It’s ridiculously cool, especially in black. Fantastic find!
I can tell it’s a ‘55-57 because it’s an automatic. I can tell it’s specifically a ‘56 because it says so on the license plate.

Fort Myers, it's essentially a snow bird retreat, lol.

Ha, this is one of those cars that should always come in black, :).

Hell you’d need a suit and tie just to wax it
